Launchmetrics is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and implement batch and near-real-time data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks. You will build robust Delta Lake schemas and collaborate across product, QA and data teams.

You'll own code quality with unit tests, optimize pipelines for performance and cost, and contribute to cross-pod initiatives. The role supports a remote-friendly setup with global hubs and learning opportunities.

Formación

• Engineer Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of relevant work experience in full-stack development in a SaaS environment.
• Strong Python and PySpark experience with distributed data processing at scale.
• Familiarity with lakehouse architecture (Databricks/Delta Lake) and medallion patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build data pipelines (batch and near-real-time) using PySpark and Databricks across Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Architect efficient Delta Lake table schemas, partitioning, clustering, and enrichment workflows.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and data engineers to translate requirements into reliable pipelines.
• Own code quality: structured PySpark jobs, unit tests, and adherence to team conventions.
• Continuously improve pipeline reliability and cost efficiency; participate in cross-pod initiatives.
