HBX Group is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead the Data & AI Platform, driving strategy, architecture and operational excellence across analytics, ML and AI workloads.

You will guide multiple engineering teams, set standards, and partner with executives to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform services that enable decision‑making across HBX Group. This role is based in Albacete, Spain.

Formación

• 10+ years of data/platform engineering or leadership in enterprise environments.
• Experience owning and operating data platforms at scale.
• Strong experience with modern data architectures (data warehouse, lakehouse, data mesh).
• Excellent stakeholder communication with executives.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end reliability, performance, and scalability of Data, ML & AI platform.
• Define the technical roadmap for platform ecosystems including data ingestion, transformation, analytics, ML, and AI enablement.
• Set technology standards and engineering best practices across domains.
• Ensure platform security, cost-efficiency, maintainability and reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies and adoption strategies to boost productivity.
• Lead multiple engineering teams through Team Leads and senior contributors.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders, Product Directors, and executives.
• Foster engineering excellence, ownership and continuous improvement.
• Mentor senior engineers and leaders in the organization.
• Own Data Platform services and monitor SLAs and metrics.
