Jobtailor is recruiting a data engineer to design and operate end-to-end data pipelines in Madrid. You will ingest, transform, quality-check, and deliver data across teams, using SQL-first transformations and Python orchestration.

You will build data components, optimize models for performance and cost, and collaborate closely with Junior/Intern team members to ensure reliable data products.

Formación

• 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering/analytics.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins and aggregations.
• Proficiency in Python for services/pipelines.
• Comfortable with Git, PR reviews, pytest.
• Strong collaboration skills with other teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion → transformation → quality → delivery).
• Build and maintain data components (event-driven ingestion, transformations, APIs, catalogs).
• Write SQL-first transformations and Python for orchestration/API logic.
• Implement data quality in the pipeline for validation, monitoring, and alerting systems at scale.
• Optimize data models for performance, cost, and reliability across datasets.
• Collaborate with Junior/Intern team members.
