A leading staffing and recruiting company in Spain is seeking a Data Supervisor to design and implement controls, support UAT testing, and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Candidates should have intermediate SQL skills and a university degree in IT, along with 2 years of relevant experience.

Formación

• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropriate mitigating controls.
• Ability to create comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ROLE

• Designing and implementing controls.
• Supporting the UAT testing of implemented controls.
• Ensuring controls have been implemented up to standards.
• Ensuring controls documentation is regularly updated.

MANDATORY SKILLS :

Intermediate knowledge of structured data, relational databases, repository tools, and metadata.

Intermediate skills in SQL coding.

Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropriate mitigating controls.

Ability to create comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements, e.g., SoX.

Ability to identify data quality problems, perform root cause analyses, and assess business impact of data defects.

Effective communication skills at all levels, including project meetings and stakeholder data reviews.

Proficiency in using tools to create management and executive reports on controls and outcomes.

Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS :

Ability to select appropriate tools and techniques to ensure data quality in business processes and data flows.

Knowledge of internal policies related to data management and governance.
