Join SOTEC Consulting as a Data Oversight Consultant in a fully remote position, focused on managing data quality and implementing robust data controls. You'll be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, all while helping enhance data governance practices across tech projects.

Formación

• 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency in using tools for reporting and managing data presented.
• Understanding of data-related policies, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement data controls.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of controls.
• Maintain and update controls documentation regularly.

Location : 100% remote

Mandatory Skills :

• Intermediate knowledge of structured data, relational databases ( SQL ), repository tools, and metadata.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropriate mitigating controls.
• Capability to create comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements (e.g., SoX).
• Skills to identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and assess business impact of data defects.
• Proficiency in using tools to generate management and executive reports on controls and outcomes.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have :

• Ability to select appropriate tools and techniques to ensure data quality in business processes and data flows.
• Knowledge of internal policies related to data, such as Data Management & Data Governance.

Responsibilities :
