Formación

• 2 years of experience required.
• Must have intermediate knowledge in SQL and structured data.
• Strong analytical skills to identify data quality problems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement controls for data oversight.
• Support UAT testing of implemented controls.
• Ensure controls documentation is regularly updated.

At SOTEC Consulting - Astek Group, we are looking for a Data Oversight Consultant to join our team and develop their career in tech projects.

Experience: 2 years

100% remote

Mandatory Skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of structured data, relational databases (SQL), repository tools, and metadata.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropriate mitigating controls.
• Able to create comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements (e.g., SoX).
• Ability to identify data quality problems, perform root cause analyses, and determine business impact for data defects.
• Able to use appropriate tools to create management and executive reports of applicable controls and control outcomes.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Ability to select the most appropriate tools and techniques to ensure data quality in business processes and data flows.
• Knowledge of internal policies applicable to data (e.g., Data Management & Data Governance).

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing controls.
• Supporting the UAT testing of implemented controls.
• Ensuring controls have been implemented to standards.
• Ensuring controls documentation is updated regularly.
