SOTEC Consulting, part of the Astek Group, is looking for a Data Oversight Consultant to lead tech project initiatives. This position involves designing data controls, analyzing data standards, and collaborating with business partners in a fully remote work setting. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years in relevant roles, showcasing strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of data quality issues.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Oversight Consultant.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and design controls.
• Proficient in generating reports and interpreting technical information.

SOTEC Consulting - Astek Group is seeking a Data Oversight Consultant to join our team and develop their career in tech projects.

Experience: 4 years | 100% remote

Mandatory Skills: Intermediate knowledge of structured data, relational databases (SQL), repository tools, and metadata. Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropriate mitigating controls. Capable of creating comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements (e.g., SoX). Skilled in identifying data quality issues, performing root cause analysis, and assessing business impact. Proficient in using tools to generate management and executive reports on controls and outcomes. Able to interpret complex technical information and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have: Ability to select appropriate tools and techniques to ensure data quality in business processes and data flows. Knowledge of internal policies related to data (e.g., Data Management & Data Governance).

Responsibilities: Designing and implementing controls, supporting UAT testing, ensuring controls meet standards, and maintaining updated control documentation.
