Job Summary

The Global Data Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the Havas data management platforms.

They ensure data operations delivery and provide excellent customer service.

They work on the global integration of the team, acting as a bridge between different areas located worldwide, and ensuring knowledge flow across all areas.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Data Solutions.

Main Responsibilities

1. Data operations management

Ensure the data platforms and processes operate smoothly, including data collection, integration, and processing.

Monitor and manage data quality processes and data integrations.

Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance of all data exchange and data solution processes.

Ensure the quality and security of data.

Maintain service quality; responsible for user support and help desk.

Troubleshoot technical issues and assist in technical improvements, cascading information to development teams.

Document data operations and monitoring solutions in clear, concise guides.

1. Team management

Coach, guide, and support the team of data operations specialists and developers.

Motivate and foster a great working environment.

Ensure knowledge transfer flows in both directions; establish protocols to guarantee this.

Develop team effectiveness.

Education & Languages

Education

Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

Previous Experience

At least 3 years of professional experience in data management.

Language Skills

• English: Professional level required.
• Spanish: Professional level required.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Broad knowledge of Data Platforms in the media space, including infrastructure and operational levels.
• Strong command of ad-serving systems, DSPs, and data management solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in data technology/management on big data platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL.
• Skills in Java, Perl, Python, Shell scripting, Unix.
• Knowledge of new-generation data platforms like MPP databases, Hadoop, or Spark is a plus.
• Experience working within IT procedures, data quality requirements, and agile/SCRUM environments.
• Robust knowledge of cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using IT project management software.
• Experience in writing technical documentation and operational how-tos.
