Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Regulatory Reporting Data Manager to lead a team of Data Analysts in automating regulatory reports. This role involves collaboration with the Compliance team and senior stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into actionable reporting processes. The manager will guide their team, bridge the gap between Compliance and Data Engineering, and ensure robust and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the Regulatory Reporting function within the data team and guide Data Analysts on their daily tasks.
2. Act as a link between Compliance and Regulatory teams to translate requirements into reporting specifications.
3. Manage downstream processes to ensure timely reporting to regulators, auditors, and banks.
4. Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering Managers to automate and strengthen reporting processes.
5. Provide roadmaps and timelines to senior management.
6. Develop specification documentation, process design, and implementation.
7. Identify gaps in systems and data platforms and recommend enhancements.
8. Review existing processes and implement procedural improvements.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Regulatory Analyst, Product Owner, or Data Analyst.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams.
• Experience working with Regulatory Reporting or Compliance teams.
• Ability to lead and empower teams, manage workload, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills at senior levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Financial Services experience is desirable but not mandatory.
