Job summary

RED Global is seeking a Data Lead - AI to design and deploy AI and data solutions that power core business and operations. You will bridge modern data architecture with autonomous AI technologies to automate workflows and enable data-driven decision making.

The role is a 6-month contract in Barcelona with an on-site presence of 2–3 days per week, starting October or November. You will provide technical leadership across data engineering, AI/ML, and system integration to deliver scalable AI

Qualifications

• Experience leading data architecture and AI/ML initiatives.

• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.

Job description

Data Lead - AI to design and deploy AI and data solutions for core business and operational initiatives. You will bridge modern data architecture with autonomous AI technologies to automate enterprise workflows and drive data-informed decision-making.

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Location: Barcelona (2 - 3 days on site)

Start Date: October/November

Key Responsibilities

• AI & Agent Systems: Design and build autonomous AI agent workflows and multi-agent systems.
• Data Architecture: Oversee data pipelines, cloud platforms, and context-retrieval systems (RAG) to power AI applications.
• System Integration: Connect AI components with enterprise software platforms and APIs.
• Technical Leadership: Define engineering standards, evaluate model performance, and lead scalable system design.

Key Qualifications

• Technical leadership experience in Data Architecture, Software Engineering, and AI/ML.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (such as Snowflake).
• Direct experience or strong knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python, API design, and enterprise system integration.
• Background in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or complex operations is a plus.
