Un start-up AgriTech en pleine croissance cherche un Ingénieur Data pour rejoindre l’équipe LAYERS. En tant que membre d'une équipe dynamique, vous serez responsable du développement de modèles, de logiciels et d'infrastructure de données en collaboration avec des scientifiques des données et des agronomes. Votre rôle sera essentiel pour optimiser les décisions liées aux cultures en vous appuyant sur des statistiques spatio-temporelles et des technologies d'IA.

At HEMAV, we are an AgriTech StartUp founded in 2012, working passionately on Data Science in the agrifood industry with the purpose of generating more food with less environmental impact.

We use a unique approach, based on Artificial Intelligence using satellite technology and other data sources (drone, meteo, soil, etc.).

Users of our technology leverage their decision-making systems on information and knowledge generated on a field-by-field basis, with customized per-user models. The HEMAV family is currently composed of around 40 persons with offices in Spain, Brazil, Peru, and the USA.

We have around 50 regional partners distributed in more than 17 countries across Europe, America, and Africa.

More than 5,000 users access the platform, which services 6 million hectares. Our software, LAYERS, generates key yield forecasting data and provides analytics with a large direct impact, helping clients improve efficiency in treatments and generate estimations in yield and quality for different crops.

We recognize that producers, the agroindustry, insurance companies, and traders face challenges in crop management, production yield, logistics, economic yield, and climate change risk assessment. LAYERS helps minimize these risks through high-quality monitoring and predictions.

The LAYERS Product Team consists of 13 members across four squads: DevOps, BackEnd, UX/UI, and Data Intelligence, working in sprints and sprint demos to keep the company updated.

• LAYERS comprises a web app, mobile app, and API, forming the core of our customer ecosystem, providing data analysis and prognosis via dashboards.

**Your mission:** To develop software, models, and repositories, and improve data infrastructure, working closely with data scientists, agronomists, analysts, and other experts. Your work will involve designing, applying software development, spatio-temporal statistics, agronomy, and AI in LAYERS' solutions.

**Specific tasks include:** Contributing to the design, planning, and implementation of core LAYERS components, maintaining and evolving the toolset, supporting clients, and improving LAYERS' robustness and scalability.

**Responsibilities:** Collaborate with experts across disciplines, participate in agile processes, support stakeholders, and work on tasks related to LAYERS development to maximize value for users.

**Evaluation:** Based on team goals following OKRs, company objectives, and location preferences (approximately 3 hours from BCN, Spain). We value asynchronous work but also teamwork and peer programming.

**Requirements:** Minimum 2 years of professional Python development in data environments, experience with Docker, AWS cloud services (Glue, Athena, S3, Step Functions), and nice-to-have skills like MLOps, Terraform, NoSQL, spatio-temporal data, GraphQL/SQL, and CI/CD. Soft skills include being a team player, autonomous, result- and quality-oriented, and familiar with agile methodologies.
