A leading global provider of clinical research services is seeking a Data Analyst in Madrid. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing data for COA Accelerator, ensuring data quality, and contributing to project improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of professional experience in data analysis.

• Familiar with database management.
• Excellent communication skills needed.

Job description:

Responsible for analyzing & responding to queries raised by clients who purchase one or more of IQVIA’s syndicated prescription and/or sales data offerings.

The candidate will also be responsible for the addition and update of data in COA Accelerator.

Essential Functions

1. Addition and update of COAs related data
2. Perform quality checks of data added by other team members
3. Lead production projects and attend project meetings as needed
4. Follow the process for data addition
5. Propose improvements to the production process
6. Provide formal and written communications internally and externally regarding issue status and resolution
7. Verify data for accuracy and completeness
8. Manipulate and transform data to optimize analyses
9. Perform audits of work to ensure conformance with procedures or to resolve issues
10. Work on additional reports or tools to develop the COAA platform
11. Serve as an onboarding buddy for new joiners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Life Sciences, or related field(s) required
• At least 4 years of experience in COAs with 2 years in data analysis required
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) required
• Basic knowledge of database management
