Job summary

Berneslai Homes in Barnsley is seeking a Data and Information Assistant to provide efficient data and information support. You will ensure information is created, stored, maintained and disposed of in line with procedures and legislation so colleagues can access reliable information when needed.

You will also support service delivery by maintaining data systems, responding to routine requests, and promoting good information management across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Good general education, including English and Maths, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using SharePoint, data systems, databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to teamwork.
• Attention to detail with methodical and organised work style.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date data and information records for quick retrieval.
• Provide day-to-day support for corporate data and information systems (filing structures, drives, databases).
• Manage key information systems including SharePoint and Intranet with security and data integrity.
• Coordinate and respond to inquiries through the BH Support inbox with updates and guidance.
• Carry out data checks and basic cleansing to improve accuracy and consistency.
