A Snapshot of your day

You will partner with Global process owners, data domain and software capability teams to conceptualize, quantify benefits of, plan, and implement data management projects that create business value through discovery and availability of trustworthy data, in a variety of business processes and knowledge domains.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. You engage data domain, business process, internal data management workstreams and software architecture communities to understand critically important business needs and emerging issues.
2. You support and enable data domain managers and data stewards to conceptualize projects and initiate activities to harmonize data by implementing data governance processes.
3. You plan projects, including resource estimates, timelines, and deliverables.
4. You assist stakeholders to create business cases for new investments in data governance and excellence programs – by identifying and quantifying potential impacts (cost savings, productivity gains, sales-increasing measures).
5. You identify risks, leverage relationships, and find creative solutions to remove barriers to achieving project objectives.
6. You define and implement relevant data quality management principles and policies.
7. You model the way in the organization, by preparing and communicating success stories about data excellence initiatives.
8. You collaborate with other data domains to enhance reusability and business impact from new projects.

What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities

1. You possess a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, business management, or related field.
2. You have 15+ years of working experience in three or more business disciplines (ex: finance, sales, engineering, project management, procurement, manufacturing, quality, information technology).
3. You demonstrate know-how in multiple enterprise-scale software systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) (ex: SAP, Oracle), customer relationship management (CRM) (ex: Salesforce), data catalogue / data integration platforms (ex: Collibra, Informatica), resource management or adaptive project management (ex: Jira, Planview, Microsoft Project).
4. You are passionate about digitalization and transformation programs and willing to constantly own skills in data and analytics.
5. You are an encouraging leader and a natural bridge-builder, with a strong track record in managing change across a wide range of customers in a global and diverse environment.
6. You are knowledgeable about the entire energy value chain, with a passion to decarbonize the world’s energy supply.
7. You have superb communication and presentation skills in English.
8. You work with an agile approach – delivering minimum viable products (MVP) quickly, and iterating rapidly.
