Formación

  • At least 5 years of experience in data governance and metadata management.
  • Experience with Data Governance tools like Collibra and Informatica.
  • Knowledge of banking sector and reporting tools.

At ING we are looking for a Data Governance Expert

Your Role And Work Environment

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Data Governance Expert to join our Data Enablement Team within the Data Management Tribe. This team is responsible for building, defining, and deploying our new Data platform governance capabilities to ensure compliance with policies and support all areas of the bank, applying the 5 Rights principles: The right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people in the right way.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support new initiatives to meet the ING data framework requirements.
  • Ensure availability of correct metadata to comply with ING policies, including classification, exchange, and definitions.
  • Guarantee data traceability according to defined minimum requirements, considering criticality.
  • Contribute as a key squad member, providing broad knowledge on reference data governance and enabling standard values across users and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Collaborate with various squads and technical teams to define new requirements for the Data Management Framework (WoW, Glossary, Metadata, Data Quality, Governance) and identify process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience with Data Governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, IGC, Atlan, etc.)
  • Experience with data catalogs or dictionaries, including business terms, reference data, and metadata linked to technical assets like Oracle tables and columns
  • At least 5 years of experience in data governance and metadata management
  • Advanced English skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with attention to detail to ensure quality

Desired Skills

  • Banking sector experience
  • Reporting tools experience (Cognos, PowerBI, Microstrategy)
  • Certifications in data governance and metadata
  • Spanish writing skills
  • SQL knowledge
  • Experience with DataStage (IBM ETL tools)
