GCP Data Engineering Manager - REMOTE (EU) B2B - GCP stack

Ascentia Partners is collaborating with a long-standing iGaming & Betting provider in the European market to expand their data engineering and analytics teams.

We are seeking a Head of Data Engineering who has experience in iGaming & Betting or a digitally focused industry, with skills as both a hands-on engineer and a team leader/manager.

Key requirements for this role include:

• Proficiency in Python & SQL
• Experience in a cloud environment, preferably GCP
• Experience mentoring or managing data or software engineers
• Ability to build and maintain a data warehouse, including ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of data governance
• Collaboration with Data Analytics, Data Science, and Software teams
• Experience in cloud architecture design and development using Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar tools
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases

If you have a background in software/platform engineering, it is highly advantageous.
