The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff. Were cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation. Its a fastpaced market with many challenges; we need new talent on board to help us fill the gaps bringing new ways of thinking into the team and therefore new possibilities. Were seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to join the force for good!

We want to build the future of identity where honest people can be trusted online and have full control over how their personal information is used. We are looking for someone to help us achieve this vision by leading our Data Engineering team and reaching new heights together. As the Data Engineering Team Lead you will guide our analytics platform to optimally support our analytics and business objectives. We need someone passionate about data people and leadership ready to elevate us to the next level.

Youll help us protect honest people online by :

• Driving initiatives and leading the architecture discussions and decisions for Veriffs analytics platform data warehouse data lake and business intelligence services
• Enhancing the data engineering domain by driving best practices and innovations if needed working handson alongside the team
• Providing your team with theresources processes and roadmaps to succeed
• Developing and maintaining frameworks that strengthen our analytics capabilities
• Setting performance metrics to optimize both speed and quality of delivery
• Proposing and implementing scalable solutions to complex business challenges

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have / are :

• Experience leading a team
• 5 years as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer
• A track record of building scalable analytics platforms
• Strong SQL and Python skills and familiarity with modern analytics tools
• Experience with data lakes and warehouses
• Excellent communication skillsable to present findings clearly and concisely
• Fluent in English (spoken & written)

Youre an especially awesome match if you have / are :

• Experience with big data processing frameworks (Apache Spark Beam or Flink)
• Handson expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau Looker etc.
• Experience working for a global scaleup / startup
