Joko is hiring a Data Engineer to own and scale our data infrastructure across Paris, Barcelona, and beyond. You will collaborate with Analysts, PMs, and Engineers to build a reliable, secure data platform and empower AI-driven data products.

The role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and cloud platforms. Partial remote options are available in a global context.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Led the implementation or scaling of a modern data stack (Airflow, dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery) in startup/scale-up.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with hands-on orchestration and cloud experience.
• Strong data modeling, warehousing principles, and performance optimization.
• Curious about AI applications and eager to apply them to data work.
• Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Own and scale our data infrastructure with autonomy and impact.
• Support AI initiatives by building robust data foundations.
• Design and maintain data pipelines from multiple sources.
• Improve dbt project organization and transformation quality.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and access governance.
• Document models, pipelines, and workflows for onboarding and collaboration.
• Assist with new market launches and centralized pipelines.
