Gracia101 Talent Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer - Migration to join our Data Foundation team. You will design robust data pipelines, execute SAP migrations and enable seamless data integration, transformation and migration across enterprise ecosystems.

You will partner with data engineers, modelers, stewards, BI developers, data scientists and business experts to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions. Strong emphasis on CI/CD, IaC and data quality practices across cloud environments.

Formación

• Hands-on experience delivering data migrations across enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs, etc.).
• 3+ years of relevant experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark and dbt.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical recommendations, assess feasibility and estimate workloads.
• Design and implement efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and storage.
• Lead SAP data migration initiatives, including ECC to HANA migrations, ensuring data accuracy.
• Develop modular, maintainable code for data transformation and integration.
• Build ETL processes for source systems not yet on the data platform.
• Maintain and optimise data pipelines with monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Implement automated data quality testing and validation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, modelers and BI teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines across environments.

We're looking for a Data Engineer - Migration to join our Data Foundation team and play a key role in designing robust data pipelines and delivering complex data migration initiatives.

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data engineering, SAP migration and cloud technology, helping deliver seamless data integration, transformation and migration solutions. You'll collaborate with data engineers, data modelers, data stewards, BI developers, data scientists and business experts to turn data into scalable, reliable and impactful solutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical recommendations, assess feasibility and estimate project workloads.
• Design and implement efficient data pipeline architectures for ingestion, transformation and storage.
• Lead and execute SAP data migration initiatives, including migrations between SAP ECC and SAP HANA, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and minimal business disruption.
• Develop modular, efficient and maintainable code for data transformation and integration.
• Build data ingestion and ETL processes from source systems where data is not yet available on the data platform.
• Maintain, upgrade and optimise data pipelines, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliable performance.
• Implement automated data quality testing and validation to maintain data integrity and reliability.
• Work closely with data engineers, data modelers, data stewards, BI developers, data scientists and subject matter experts to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Contribute to technical standards, best practices, documentation and knowledge sharing across the data engineering community.
• Design, build and optimise automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines across environments.

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience delivering data migrations across enterprise systems, such as ERPs, CRMs or similar platforms.
• Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines, ideally with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
• SQL and Python
• Spark / PySpark
• dbt
• Git
• Azure DevOps
• Databricks
• Experience with cloud engineering platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong experience designing, building and deploying CI/CD pipelines; infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
• A strong understanding of coding, testing, documentation and automated data-quality practices.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, data experts and subject matter experts to understand requirements and deliver project milestones.
• A technically curious and growth-oriented mindset, with a continuous focus on improving how data is engineered and used.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging directly with stakeholders.
