An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing SaaS organisation. The role is brand new, affording you the scope to come in and make it your own. You’ll utilise your ability to communicate with various internal stakeholders and deep knowledge of data, shaping how it is used across the business to enable efficiency, innovation and smarter decisions.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business. You will act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and the data engineering function, translating complex business challenges into actionable, data driven solutions. Working across multiple teams, you will engage closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives and design the data strategies, pipelines, and tools that help them achieve the desired outcomes.

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end data solutions, from gathering requirements through to building and maintaining scalable infrastructure and analytical outputs. Using technologies such as Redshift, Python, Power BI, and modern ETL frameworks. The environment is much more selecting the right tool to solve a problem than being tied to a specific stack. You will also play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of the company’s data capabilities, moving from traditional business intelligence towards advanced analytics and AI integration.

Success in this role requires a strong technical foundation in data engineering, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You should be comfortable working in an environment looking to scale, where processes evolve rapidly and your ability to translate data into business value will have a visible impact. A background in bringing the commercial awareness needed to align data initiatives with business priorities would be particularly advantageous.
