Job summary

Nexus Energía is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and evolve our data ecosystem, centralizing information and making it accessible to the entire business. You will create data models, pipelines, and automated Power BI reports while collaborating with teams across the company to translate needs into data solutions.

Join a newly created data area with flexible arrangements, including two remote days per week, and a focus on growth, quality, and governance of our data landscape.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Advanced SQL, data modeling, and Python skills.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and/or data lakes (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Power BI, DBT, and ETL tools a plus.
• Able to collaborate, work autonomously, and grow in a newly created area.

We are looking for a Data Engineer for the Data area: a technically skilled and autonomous person who will help us build and evolve our data ecosystem, centralizing information and making it accessible to the entire business.

• No industry experience is required.
• You have advanced SQL, data modeling, and Python skills.
• You have worked with cloud data warehouses and/or data lakes (ideally AWS, although we also value other cloud environments).
• You enjoy collaborating, work autonomously, and have a proactive and flexible attitude to grow in a newly created area.
