Job summary

Nexus Energía is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and evolve our data ecosystem, centralizing information and making it accessible to the entire business. You will create data models, pipelines, and automated Power BI reports while collaborating with teams across the company to translate needs into data solutions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Advanced SQL, data modeling, and Python skills.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and/or data lakes (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Power BI, DBT, and ETL tools a plus.
• Able to collaborate, work autonomously, and grow in a newly created area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models and pipelines with quality, integrity, and governance.
• Participate in data transformation processes to centralize information and make it accessible.
• Design and execute test plans to validate data quality in each deployment.
• Automate reports and dashboards in Power BI for different areas.
• Collaborate with business areas to understand their needs and turn them into data solutions.
