Responsibilities

• Сотрудничество с ETL командой; работа с SQL и dbt для моделирования и трансформаций.

At eXperience IT Solutions, a technology company with more than 25 years of experience in the IT sector, we are looking to recruit a Data Engineer / Data Modeler with practical experience in Generative Artificial Intelligence and AI-driven automation to participate in strategic projects within the Data area.

• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models for corporate applications and business use cases.
• Design normalized transactional models and dimensional analytical models, including star schemas and the Kimball methodology.
• Define semantic models, data consumption structures, metrics, KPIs and reusable business rules.
• Translate functional requirements into efficient, scalable and maintainable data models.
• Design data structures intended for consumption by analytical tools, corporate applications and Artificial Intelligence agents.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for data integration and transformation processes, coordinating with the ETL team responsible for their implementation.
• Work with SQL and dbt on modeling and transformation tasks, supervising and validating implementations.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability and availability.
• Participate in the evolution of Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures and in defining best practices for data modeling, quality and governance.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams, acting as a liaison between functional needs and data solutions.
• Participate in advanced analytics initiatives, such as forecasting, segmentation and optimization.
• Use generative AI tools and AI systems with execution capabilities to delegate technical tasks, such as generating and modifying SQL, developing dbt models, creating code, documentation and tests, analyzing data, and automating workflows.
• Design, configure or use AI agents capable of performing tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously, with supervision, validation and control mechanisms.
• Review, test and correct AI-generated results, ensuring their quality, security and suitability for project requirements.
• Depending on experience, participate in initiatives related to LLMs, RAG architectures, AI model integration, fine-tuning or deployment of AI-based solutions.

Требования

• Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, Analytics Engineer or in similar positions.
• Strong experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modeling, as well as in designing analytical models and data consumption layers.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to transform business requirements into reusable and scalable data models.
• Practical experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Experience working with Data Warehouse and/or Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience or knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, especially in data environments and S3 storage.
• Practical and intensive experience using Artificial Intelligence to perform technical tasks, beyond using it as a conversational assistant.
• Ability to delegate development, analysis, data transformation, automation or problem-solving tasks to AI tools or agents, and subsequently review and validate the results.
• Experience with agent-assisted programming tools or performing tasks through AI, such as OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or other equivalent solutions.
• Ability to supervise, test, debug and correct AI-generated code and solutions, retaining technical judgment and responsibility for the final result.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate technical decisions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience automating processes using agents capable of planning and executing sequences of tasks, using tools and checking results
• Experience deploying, integrating or operating AI solutions in production environments
• Knowledge or experience in fine-tuning, model evaluation, prompt engineering and designing workflows with LLMs
• Experience using AI to develop complete features, create or modify multiple components of a project, run tests, analyze errors, and propose or apply corrections
• Knowledge of orchestration, APIs, Python and process automation
• Experience designing data models and semantic structures that facilitate reliable access to information by AI agents

• Integration into a multidisciplinary Data team, with support from architecture profiles and collaboration with technical and functional teams.
• Work with technologies such as Snowflake, S3, dbt, Airflow and Tableau, within an AWS Cloud environment.
• Participation in designing data solutions that will support both corporate applications and AI use cases.
• Location: Barcelona, with on-site work 2 days per week.
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• During the summer period, hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
