Formación

Responsabilidades

• Проектировать и внедрять масштабируемые, production‑grade пайплайны данных.
• Руководить эволюцией паттернов оркестрации Airflow для масштабируемости и надежности.
• Вести технические POC для оценки новых инструментов и архитектурных подходов.
• Содействовать формированию целевой архитектуры данных совместно с архитекторами и DataOps.

• Design and implement scalable, production-grade data pipelines using version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability;
• Lead the evolution of Airflow orchestration patterns to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability;
• Drive technical POCs to evaluate new tools, architectural patterns, and performance improvements aligned with the platform roadmap;
• Contribute to shaping and validating the target data architecture with Architects, Staff Engineers, and DataOps;
• Identify system weaknesses, design for failure, and define mitigation strategies and resilience patterns;
• Implement and enforce data contracts and quality controls aligned with defined SLOs;
• Apply data modeling best practices, including medallion architecture, to create trusted and reusable data assets;
• Establish domain ownership principles and clear single sources of truth;
• Embed lineage, metadata, and observability mechanisms in all pipelines;
• Drive technical alignment across teams through documentation, standards, and mentoring;
• Partner with DataOps on infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform automation at scale;
• Support product and engineering teams in adopting the platform with a focus on developer experience;
• Build cross-functional relationships to accelerate adoption and platform impact;
• Lead initiatives end-to-end from problem framing to production rollout;
• Structure complex technical problems into actionable plans and manage cross-team dependencies;
• Make architectural trade-offs balancing scalability, cost, reliability, and time-to-market;
• Take ownership of platform stability and continuously improve operational excellence;
• Mentor and help other engineers grow through technical guidance and feedback.

• At least 6 years of data engineering experience, including significant exposure to production-grade data platforms and cross-team leadership;
• Deep hands‑on experience with a modern cloud lakehouse in production-grade environments, such as Snowflake or Databricks;
• Strong expertise in analytical data modeling, including medallion architecture, and safe schema evolution;
• Proven experience designing scalable, incremental ELT pipelines;
• Strong understanding of MPP systems and distributed data processing principles;
• Experience optimizing query performance and compute costs in cloud data warehouses;
• Cost‑aware design mindset;
• Advanced experience with Airflow, including scalable DAG design, dependency management, and failure handling strategies;
• Strong experience designing and operating production‑grade ELT pipelines with modern integration tools such as Airbyte or similar, or custom ingestion frameworks;
• Strong experience with AWS‑based data architectures, including S3, IAM, and networking fundamentals;
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform;
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows;
• Understanding of security‑by‑design principles in cloud data environments;
• Experience implementing data quality frameworks, data contracts, and validation strategies;
• Strong understanding of metadata management, lineage tracking, and monitoring practices;
• Experience embedding observability and reliability into pipelines, including alerting, SLOs, and incident response;
• Nice to have: Experience designing self-service data platform capabilities.
