Job Responsibilities
  1. Employ GCP tools (dbt, Airflow, and Looker) to enhance data quality, efficiency, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely data.
  2. Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues such as data quality problems, discrepancies, and missing data.
  3. Contribute to the development and improvement of data solutions.
  4. Leverage dbt for complex modeling challenges, focusing on performance, robustness, and scalability.
  5. Develop prevention and alerting solutions to monitor data health.
  6. Adopt and refine best practices, including naming conventions, data modeling, and data quality testing.
  7. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Support team members in designing, developing, and implementing data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  9. Take ownership of assigned tasks and initiatives.
  10. Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including joining and manipulating various data types, writing parameterized scripts, and debugging SQL code.
  11. Understand ETL and data warehousing concepts.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven SQL skills with the ability to handle different data types (String, Integer, JSON, Array).
  • Strong communication skills to share updates, progress, and findings clearly and timely.
  • A curious, growth-oriented mindset focused on continuous learning.
  • Ability to understand, address, and communicate technical and business problems effectively.
