The opportunity.

Our Quantexa Delivery team focuses on contextualizing data. As a data engineer, you will implement our innovative technology, build end-to-end data pipelines, and configure our decision-making platform to detect key insights. Your work will help clients solve problems related to fraud, financial crime, data management, risk, and customer intelligence.

What you’ll be doing.

• Writing efficient, fault-tolerant code for production data processing systems.
• Configuring and deploying Quantexa software using tools like Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Elasticsearch on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
• Communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborating with solution architects and R&D engineers to address complex big data challenges and promote best practices.

What you’ll bring.

• At least 18 months of hands-on experience in a data engineering role or similar, with a background in software development.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or similar languages, with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade batch data processing systems.
• Familiarity with development tools like Git, Gradle, Nexus, and automation/DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Bash scripting.
• Strong technical communication skills and experience working in dynamic client environments.
• Knowledge of testing libraries (e.g., ScalaTest) and understanding of different test types.
