Senovo IT is actively looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our great and well-known clients.

Contract role : 6-12 months + extension

Languages: only English

Location: Spain, fully remote

Main requirements :

1. Projects involving statistical approaches or detection logic
2. Data mapping, relational data, and object orientation
3. Data processing such as ETL (and ideally some exposure to tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica, etc.), parsing, and handling data quality-related issues
4. Operational environments, DevOps, research / analysis
5. Hadoop, Spark, Scala (or Java), Python; Elastic (optional), RESTful APIs
6. JSON, Tomcat / Jetty
7. Exposure to version control systems (code control, IDEs), understanding processes used to build solutions
8. Hands-on development experience (Java, Scala, etc.) via system integration projects or as a data scientist
9. Fraud, financial crime, customer insight, or compliance-based projects that utilize detection or predictive models
10. Agile development methodology
