Job Description & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a DBA, preferably in Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in database administration, especially with PostgreSQL, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
• Knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is valuable.
• Experience with ETL jobs, data warehouses, BI tools, and observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK is valuable.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is valuable.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are advantageous.
