Una empresa internacional en el sector de la ingeniería y construcción busca un Ingeniero de Control de Calidad para unirse a su dinámica y multicultural equipo. Esta posición clave involucra asegurar la conformidad de los suministros y evaluar la calidad de productos en proyectos de energía y sostenibilidad. Con un enfoque en la mejora continua y la transición energética, el candidato ideal tendrá al menos 7 años de experiencia en inspección de proveedores, incluyendo equipos de presión y soldaduras. Formación

  • Mínimo 7 años de experiencia en inspección de proveedores en la industria de petróleo y gas.
  • Experiencia en inspección de soldaduras y pruebas no destructivas.

Responsabilidades

  • Asegurar la conformidad del suministro y evaluar la calidad del producto.
  • Coordinar inspecciones y gestionar informes de inspección.
  • Mantener registros de informes de inspección y certificados de liberación.

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer for our Heat Transfer Division.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure conformity of supply / appraise product quality in accordance with contractual requirements, applicable Codes & Standards and Local Regulations.
  • Familiarize with project specifications and quality control procedures.
  • Coordination with Inter discipline(s) within the organization, Third Party Inspection agencies, Client Coordinator (as applicable) and Suppliers.
  • Studying Project specifications, Review of Supplier QC documents such as ITP / QAP, QC procedures based on Client specifications / Project requirements.
  • Establish QAP / ITP for each items as when required as per Purchase requisition, Project specification and Client special requirements, Codes and Standards.
  • Review of Manufacture's Test Certificate for raw material bought out items like plate, pipe, forging, tube, fitting, fasteners, gaskets, valve etc.
  • Knowledge in Establishing / reviewing WPS, PQR / Review / Witness PQR / WPS & make sure that all required variables, materials & thickness ranges of projects are covered.
  • Experience in Evaluation of NDT of raw materials & Welds.
  • Attend Pre-Inspection Meetings, Kick-off meeting, etc, as required.
  • Management of Inspections as follows:
  • Management of Notifications of Inspection as per Project protocol - Monitoring of control of Inspection Notifications received from vendor(s) / Sub vendors and sending to TPIA’s and Client Inspection Coordinator / Team.
  • Ensure Timely Inspection(s) as per Inspection notification being raised.
  • Coordinate for Inspection Reports along with Supporting documents as soon as Inspection has been completed.
  • Review / verification of vendor(s) inspection Reports in line with Approved ITP Drawings / Applicable documents / Project specifications.
  • Ensure that if any Observations found during Inspection are communicated to Vendor(s) / contractor and make sure that observations are closed at the earliest. Management of Non Conformances.
  • Maintain Status / Records of Inspection Reports & Inspection Release Certificates and ensure same are uploaded to the system in timely manner.
  • In some specific cases the candidate shall perform the inspections at Supplier’s workshop carrying out stage wise inspections as per approved ITP and ensuring availability of calibration certificates of test instruments used during Inspection. Inspection records / reports and supporting documents shall be also reviewed.
  • Responsible for compliance of project quality procedures being implemented by Vendors & the traceability and documentation of all materials / Items are available as per QC procedures and guidelines.
  • Review of vendor Final quality Dossiers and support for compiling of final documentation and dossier preparation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering / Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: minimum 7 years work experience in vendor inspection of related commodity (pressure equipment as Fired Heaters, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, boilers, piping,…) including welding inspection, NDE, painting, Witness Factory Acceptance test, as applicable in Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical Industry.
