Senovo IT is actively looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our great and well-known clients.

Contract role : 6-12 months + extension

Languages : only English

Location : Spain, fully remote

Main requirements :

1. Experience with projects involving statistical approaches, detection logic, data mapping, relational data, and object-oriented data processing such as ETL (with exposure to tools like Ab Initio, Informatica, etc.), parsing, and handling data quality issues.
2. Operational environments, DevOps, research/analysis, Hadoop, Spark, Scala (or Java), Python; Elastic (optional), RESTful APIs, JSON, Tomcat / Jetty.
3. Exposure to version control systems, understanding processes used to build solutions.
4. Hands-on development experience (Java, Scala, etc.) through system integration projects or as a data scientist.
5. Experience in fraud, financial crime, customer insight, or compliance projects utilizing detection or predictive models.
