Job Description

What you’ll do

• Be part of the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona as a Housekeeping Supervisor intern, working under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager to supervise the overall operation of the housekeeping department.
• Ensure all service standards and sequences are upheld.
• Collaborate daily with all housekeeping partners.
• Maintain close communication with the Front Office and Engineering teams.
• Address guest issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check cleanliness and repair of public areas, guest rooms/suites, equipment, and linens; advise on improvements.
• Assist with handling complaints, special requests, VIPs, and repeat visitors for complete guest satisfaction.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
• Support deep cleaning projects and assist during high volume periods.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning guest suites.
