Job Opportunity : Data Engineer at mscope Madrid

mscope Madrid, based in the Community of Madrid, Spain, is an early-stage startup leveraging proprietary AI to enhance Microeconomics & Finance. Our goal is to help investors identify highly promising SMEs and accelerate their growth.

We develop market intelligence by identifying, classifying, and qualifying high-growth SMEs using a sophisticated, proprietary methodology. Our technology stack includes AWS services, EMR Cluster for Big Data, AI models with Pyspark, web development with Spring Boot and Java 11, React, and Redux. We are an ambitious, talented, and international team of 20, committed to building high-quality solutions with a radical impact on the economy and society.

Position : Experienced Data Engineer

What We Offer :

• Develop data cleaning, summarization, and validation techniques.

What We're Looking For :

• Relevant experience with SQL / PL-SQL.
• Relevant experience with Python.
• Experience with ETLs and E / R models.
• Experience collaborating with Data & Development teams.
• Experience with Pyspark.
• Basic experience with AWS services (EMR, Lambdas, etc.).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience working with financial data (preferred).
• Basic experience with data science environments.
• Basic experience with Vector databases.
• Basic experience with scraping engines.
• Experience with ETL environments like AWS Glue, Talend Studio, or similar.
