Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines.
2. Develop and optimize ETL processes for data integration.
3. Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data systems.
4. Manage and maintain data architecture, models, and schemas.
5. Implement and uphold data governance and quality standards.
6. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
7. Develop and implement backup/recovery procedures to minimize data loss.
8. Collaborate with teams to ensure data systems align with business needs.

Qualifications

1. More than 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator/Architect.
2. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
3. Strong skills in Python and Ansible for development and automation.
4. Familiarity with cloud-based database management.
5. Ability to analyze and organize raw data to build effective data systems.
6. Experience in creating and managing databases, tables, and indexes.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
