Job summary

Verisure Innovation in Madrid is seeking a seasoned Team Lead – Data & Enablement to drive a major transformation of our enterprise data platform. You will shape Data-as-a-Service, enable self-service analytics, and partner with regional and product teams to deliver trusted data for AI and decision making.

This leadership role combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery, people management and stakeholder alignment across multiple countries. Fluent English and Spanish are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience within Data Engineering, Data Platforms or Cloud Platforms.
• Proven transformation experience in modernising data platforms and enabling self-service data.
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments, with stakeholder alignment and business impact.
• Solid technical understanding of Snowflake and AWS.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the major data transformation to a Data-as-a-Service model, enabling self-service and greater autonomy across the organisation.
• Develop and coach teams across Cloud Data Platform, BI & Legacy and Data Governance.
• Drive cloud platform evolution with Snowflake and AWS.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to drive adoption of new data services.
• Oversee delivery priorities, resources and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish and embed data ownership, governance processes and operational standards.
• Shape a future-ready organisation and talent development.
