Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to provide on-site support at our facilities in Huesca, Spain. You will perform Remote Hands and Smart Hands tasks, install and decommission server racks, manage cross-connects and patch panels, and troubleshoot hardware to maintain uptime.

Candidates should have hands-on data center experience, knowledge of server hardware and cabling standards, reliable transport to local data centers, and strong English communication.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled Data Center Technician in Huesca, Spain to provide on-site technical support at local data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps)


• Server rack installation and decommissioning


• Cross-connect and patch panel management


• Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics


• Visual inspections and inventory audits


• Escort and access coordination for client visits


• Emergency response and on-call availability

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure


• Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards


• Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers


• Strong communication skills in English


• Ability to lift 25kg+ equipment


• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for urgent requests

Nice to Have

• Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Network+, CDCP, CCNA


• Experience at major DC providers (Equinix, Digital Realty, NTT, CyrusOne)


• Structured cabling expertise (fiber, Cat6, DAC)


• Data center or IT infrastructure experience


• Server hardware and networking knowledge


• Reliable and professional with strong communication


• Proximity to local data center facilities


• Flexible schedule for on-call/emergency work
