Reboot Monkey in Spain (Cerdanyola del Vallès) is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure on-site as a freelance role.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, monitor power and cooling, and respond to incidents with clear documentation and collaboration with engineering teams. 3+ years in data center operations and relevant certifications are preferred.

Formación

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
