Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Project Controller to oversee financial and administrative activities across multiple data center construction projects. You will collaborate with senior leaders, cost managers, and PMs to ensure accurate reporting, budget adherence, and process improvements in a high-intensity environment.

Responsibilities include cost tracking, invoicing, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Proven experience in project financial control, cost management, and project administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Suite; familiarity with project management systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions.

Responsibilities

• Project setup and documentation for new projects from due diligence through delivery.
• Provide stakeholder support to Design, Equipment Procurement, Construction Management, and Health & Safety teams.
• Track and report costs against the project budget baseline; monitor commitments.
• Administer invoices, Purchase Orders, and payments to vendors; manage cost forecasting.
• Identify issues and deviations from baseline; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain budget tracking tools and reporting for internal/external stakeholders.
