Johnson Controls in Spain is seeking a results-driven data center sales professional to develop and expand relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation operators across Spain and the wider region.

You will drive business growth by leveraging our Fire Detection & Suppression solutions and broader building technologies, positioning Johnson Controls as the preferred partner and achieving strong pipeline, order intake, and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven success in technical or solutions-based B2B sales, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Consultative selling skills with the ability to influence customer decision-making and build long-term strategic relationships.
• Experience working independently while collaborating effectively within a matrix organization.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strategic relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, hyperscalers, colocation operators, and other key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
• Create, execute, and continuously refine Account Plans to expand market share, grow pipeline opportunities, and increase customer penetration.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Influence basis of design (BoD) and project specifications to position Johnson Controls Fire Detection & Suppression solutions as the preferred choice.
• Conduct technical and commercial presentations, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert within the data center fire protection market.
• Drive adoption of Johnson Controls’ broader building technology portfolio, including fire and life safety, building automation, energy management, security, digital services, and smart building solutions.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams, operations teams, and technical experts to support project pursuits and ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM, Altify Account Management, and other sales tools to effectively manage pipeline, customer engagement, forecasting, and account strategies.
• Maintain regular customer engagement through business reviews, innovation workshops, and strategic account meetings.
• Support pre-bid, bid, and post-bid activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive insights to management and product teams.
• Foster strong internal relationships and work effectively within a matrix organization to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Participate in industry events, networking activities, and professional organizations to strengthen market presence and customer relationships.
