Amazon is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician for its Data Center Engineering Operations in Zaragoza. The role focuses on hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting to maintain one of the world’s largest information systems infrastructures.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, routine readings, and supervising contractors for maintenance tasks in a demanding data center environment.

Formación

• Experience in relevant work.
• Able to bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working.
• Able to use hands to manipulate small wires and objects.
• Able to walk on job sites in uneven terrain.
• Able to work at heights and from ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture.
• Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPSs, switchgear, circuit breakers, ATS, Diesel Generators, chillers, HVAC, exhaust fans, VFDs, and transformers.
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents).
• Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance.
