Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L.U. is seeking a Controls Engineer to maintain and improve the building management and electrical power monitoring systems for its data centers in Spain.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in vendor management
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in project management

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS and EPMS systems, adjusting work plans based on equipment conditions and risk assessments to maintain safe, reliable data center operations.
• Manage the scope, schedule, and execution of controls improvement projects, including developing the sequence of operations (SOO), modifying controls logic programming, and commissioning new systems during data center builds.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical control issues across generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and related infrastructure, escalating abnormal conditions when necessary and acting as an escalation point during incidents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, design teams, and external vendors to review maintenance outcomes, align on project deliverables, and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide hands‑on training to less‑experienced team members on equipment operation, BMS/EPMS configuration, and technical best practices.
