Allianz Technology is rolling out a new global insurance platform. For this purpose, a Data Architect Lead is required to act in the interests of the business area. The role involves supporting the PO in roadmap creation, requirements gathering, and bridging the gap between the PO and the engineering team, including QAs, to set up testing scenarios and support their execution.

What you do

1. Support the PO and assist in designing solutions with the engineering team.
2. Collaborate with business areas to identify improvements and define features aligned with the PO.
3. Translate product epics and features into well-formatted user stories and acceptance criteria.
4. Manage and track the backlog proactively based on business value, complexity, and expectations.
5. Work with QA to define test cases, support data creation, and testing when needed.
6. Configure various systems as required.
7. Provide clear documentation of solutions.
8. Identify and analyze bugs, and assist in creating the business understanding needed for proper fixes.
9. Assist and/or shadow the PO in preparing demos and planning sessions.

What you bring

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Extensive experience as a Data Architect.
• Functional knowledge of insurance products.
• Experience with Cloud technologies and orchestration tools.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining ETLs.
• Ability to establish and enforce data governance policies.
• Experience working with security and IT teams to design data security architectures.
• High adaptability and capacity to learn in a changing environment.
• Preferred: a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Organization or Information Technology.
