Business Unit : Operations (Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Information Architect to drive the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise information and data architectures across the Operations function , supporting areas such as manufacturing, supply chain planning, procurement, and delivery.

You will define and manage architecture strategies, data models, governance frameworks, and integration approaches to ensure alignment with business capabilities and enterprise standards — particularly in the context of Data Mesh and regulated environments (GMP) .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver enterprise-wide information architecture for Operations-related data.
• Develop logical and semantic data models, metadata strategies, and governance processes.
• Align architecture with business strategies, regulatory requirements, and IT standards.
• Ensure architectural governance and approval of information architecture artifacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Data Offices, Engineering teams, and external partners.
• Provide guidance on architecture for analytics, reporting, data science, and operational use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in enterprise data architecture and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in data modeling, metadata, and regulatory data management.
• Strong understanding of Data Mesh principles and data lifecycles.
• Experience with architecture tools (e.g., metadata cataloging, modeling tools).
• Familiar with Agile delivery and hybrid cloud environments.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience working in global / matrixed environments.
• Knowledge of containerization and modern data platform technologies.
