Job Description

We are looking for a Data Architect specialising in Azure Databricks with solid experience in designing data platforms and integration processes, and implementing advanced data solutions using Databricks in the Azure environment. You will be responsible for:

• Working with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Defining best practices: establishing and evangelising standards and practices to maximise integrity, stability, and performance at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Contributing to the configuration of architecture components: compute, storage, etc.
• Implementing and managing data catalogues using Unity Catalog.
• Creating, managing, and optimising the performance of data lakes using Delta Lake.
• Configuring and managing data security, including row filtering and column masking.
• Configuring and managing Delta Sharing for secure data sharing.
• Managing system tables and metadata.
• Implementing and monitoring data quality measures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Designing and developing efficient and scalable ETL processes.
• Documenting data solutions and providing ongoing support.
