As a member of Roche Informatics' Data Advisory & Insights team, the Data and Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders across different functions. This role involves understanding customer and stakeholder needs, problem-solving, contributing to product vision and roadmaps, managing the team backlog, and supporting teams in delivering value through continuous feedback. With a proven track record in understanding the true requirements of business stakeholders, you will collaborate as a team player in delivering data products. Additionally, you are comfortable with ambiguity, able to work independently with minimal oversight.
Overview: The Financial Planning team at Roche supports company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes. We are seeking a Senior TM1/Planning Analytics Engineer to plan, architect, enhance and build support processes to several of our current or future applications.
Responsibilities:
Main Skills and Responsibilities necessary:
Extensive, proven experience (min. 5 years) as a Planning Analytics/TM1 Architect and Developer:
Proficiency in setting up cubes, dimensions
Capable of writing complex, dependent Turbo Integrator processes (TIs)
Capable of writing complex Rules knowing the rule-engine of TM1
Building PAW (Planning Analytics Workspace) workbooks
Understanding REST API of TM1, being able to write API calls with complex and parameter driven MDX queries
Indepth know-how of TM1 security model and being able to implement complex security set-up within Planning Analytics/TM1
Expert user of Perspectives and PAFE Excel Add-ins.
Extensive, proven experience (min. 5 years) with programming languages at minimum with the following:
VBA
Python
Java Script / CSS.
Extensive, proven experience (min. 5 years) with relational database systems and primary knowledge with:
SQL language
MDX query language.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and testing financial planning applications.
Serving as a Business Analyst by collaborating closely with customers to understand their processes and requirements.
Documenting user requirements and creating Functional Specification and Design documents.
Demonstrated ability to self-organize and take proactive measures.
Proficiency in English.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
