Descripción del empleo

The post holder will be part of the Madrid office team and will be responsible to support the company development activities mainly focused in supporting the pipeline origination and acquisition of assets. The post holder must be able to coordinate the assigned activities and manage the deliverables to ensure that the work is provided in an effective manner on time and budget (when requires third party support). The candidate will be member of the Madrid team and requiring capacity to interact with other team members across Europe.

The candidate will be responsible to manage the assigned activities as well as to provide the required support in the following areas :

• Assist in originating, screening, and evaluating infrastructure investment (debt and equity) opportunities across Europe
• Preparation of financial models, including full understanding of the business case and assumptions behind.
• Market follow up to be able to understand and acquire Renewable and Energy Market knowledge
• Perform asset valuation and participate in the in-depth analysis and due diligence of acquisition targets, including liaison with the different departments (legal / technical / development / finance).
• After some learning period, it is expected that the candidate would be capable to progress and manage the assigned transactions
• Preparation of investment presentations and memos for internal approval and investors
• Assist in evaluating and monitoring asset and portfolio performance and support the Asset Management team after Financial Close.
• Support in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports required by investors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s (or master’s degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or closely related fields.
• Experience in either financial modelling corporate finance or infrastructure related field within a top-tier institution : developer, investment firm or advisory firm in the renewable energy or infrastructure
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a must. Other languages an advantage
• Willing to learn and progress in a dynamic and flexible company
