As a Data Analyst Senior, you are responsible for building SQL, Qlik, and PowerBI data models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with product owners, guide team members, and work closely with clients on challenges related to Data Foundations, Data Analytics, and Data Science.
You will work closely with data engineers, BI analysts, and product owners to create fast, efficient, and scalable data intelligence solutions for Werfen employees.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with the team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and initiate new analytics projects.
- Build data models with SQL and automate them using Python. Have deep knowledge of datasets within the data lake to guide stakeholders effectively.
- Apply appropriate data models to specific business problems.
- Use creative solutions, analytics, and visualization techniques to generate insights that deliver ROI.
- Build relationships based on trust within the organization to respond effectively to internal customer needs, aligned with corporate strategy.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing a team or multiple projects, preferably in digital/tech or health/diagnostics/life sciences.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python.
- Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or similar dashboarding software.
- Knowledge of statistical programming (Python/R) and libraries like Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R Markdown.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of DataOps principles.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Git version control.
