Job Description:

As a Data Analyst Senior, you are responsible for building SQL, Qlik, and PowerBI data models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with product owners, guide team members, and work closely with clients on challenges related to Data Foundations, Data Analytics, and Data Science. Your role involves working with data engineers, BI analysts, and product owners to create efficient and scalable data solutions for Werfen employees.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Having 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing teams or multiple projects, preferably in digital/tech and health/diagnostics/life science sectors.
• Working with teams and stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and initiate new analytics projects.
• Building data models with SQL and automating them with Python, with deep knowledge of datasets within the data lake.
• Applying appropriate data models to business problems.
• Using creative solutions, analytics, and visualization techniques to generate insights that deliver ROI.

Networking and key relationships are critical for building trust within the organization, responding to internal needs while aligning with corporate strategy.

Minimum knowledge and experience required:

• Advanced SQL skills
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other dashboarding tools
• Knowledge of statistical programming (Python/R) and libraries like Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter notebooks, R Markdown

Advantages include familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, DataOps principles, Agile methodologies, and Git.

• Proficiency in data analysis and understanding of various business domains
• Ability to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Fluency in English, good presentation skills, and effective communication within teams and stakeholders
