A leading healthcare analytics firm in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is seeking a Data Analyst Senior to build data models using SQL, Qlik, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, be proficient in Python, and demonstrate effective communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues. This role involves collaboration with product owners and data professionals to provide actionable insights and support key business decisions. A fluent command of English is essential.

Formación

• 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, managing teams or projects.

• Familiarity with statistical programming and related libraries.

As a Data Analyst Senior, you are responsible for building SQL, Qlik, and PowerBI data models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with product owners, guide team members, and work closely with clients on challenges related to Data Foundations, Data Analytics, and Data Science. Your role involves working with data engineers, BI analysts, and product owners to create fast, efficient, and scalable data intelligence solutions for Werfen employees.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Having 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing a team or multiple projects, preferably in the digital/tech and health/diagnostics/life science sectors.
• Working with the team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and initiate new analytics projects.
• Building data models with SQL and automating them using Python. Possessing deep knowledge of datasets within the data lake to guide stakeholders effectively.
• Applying appropriate data models to solve business problems.
• Using creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and deliver actionable insights that generate ROI.

Networking / Key Relationships: Establishing trust-based relationships within the organization to effectively respond to internal customer needs while aligning with corporate strategy.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required:

• Advanced SQL skills.
• Proficiency in any programming language like Python.
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other dashboarding software.
• Knowledge of statistical programming (Python/R) and familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R Markdown.

Additional advantageous familiarity includes:

• DataOps principles.
• Agile methodologies.

Skills & Capabilities: Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, with an interest in understanding various business domains. Ability to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues is essential.
