Back Market seeks a data analytics intern in Barcelona for a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027. You will analyze operations across Customer Care, Seller Care, Quality and Shipping to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Management or Engineering with data analytics focus, strong SQL skills, and fluency in English. It offers hybrid work in Barcelona with a signed internship agreement from a French university.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering with specialization in data & analytics or equivalent.
• Strong skills in data analytics, visualization and modeling, including experience with SQL; ideally with Omni, Google Analytics/Datastudio and Amplitude.
• Interested in helping the business grow through data analysis (project management/coordination).
• Good communication skills and ability to present to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to get hands dirty.
• Excellent team player with English fluency.

• Contribute to strategy by considering long-term implications of actions.

• Maintain, update and improve monitoring tools (SQL, Omni).
• Mentor stakeholders on their data needs.

The Care & Shipping Data Analytics team turns operational data into actionable insights to improve process efficiency and customer satisfaction across Customer Care, Seller Care, Quality and Shipping. We partner with business stakeholders, maintain monitoring tools and provide clear recommendations to support both day-to-day operations and long-term decisions. Our work helps teams make better, data-informed decisions across the business.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):

• Conduct in-depth analyses to help Operations Specialists improve process efficiency and customer satisfaction across Customer Care, Seller Care, Quality and Shipping.

• Be an active contributor to the strategy, by thinking beyond immediate analysis to understand the long-term implications of actions

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders : supporting their needs, sharing your analysis & recommendations in an impactful way to get their buy-in

• Maintain, update and improve the monitoring tools (SQL, Omni)

• Mentor business stakeholders on their data needs

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF:

• You are in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering with specialization in data & analytics or equivalent

• You have strong skills in data analytics, visualization and modeling, including experience with SQL ; ideally with Omni, Google Analytics/Datastudio and Amplitude

• You are also interested in helping the business grow thanks to the data analyzed (project management/coordination skills)

• You have good communication skills and you are able to make your work accessible to a non-technical audience

• You know how to work in autonomy

• You like to do concrete things and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty

• You are an amazing team player with whom it’s always a pleasure to work

• You are fluent in English

• You are looking for a 5-6 month full-time internship from January 2027 based in Barcelona

• Your current French university can provide an internship agreement

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:

• Start date: January 2027

• Duration : 6 months

• Full-time internship (35h/week)

• Location : Barcelona (Spain)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

• Skill fit interview and live case study with a team member (45min)

• Video-call Interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 min)

• Cultural fit interview with the manager (30min)
