Ebury is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain, with options in Málaga or Madrid and a hybrid setup (4 days in the office, 1 day remote).

You will help build and maintain our Data Platform, support Treasury reporting and ALM workflows, and collaborate with Treasury, Product and Tech teams on data initiatives.

Formación

  • 2+ years in Data/Business Analytics with Treasury/Finance exposure preferred.
  • Advanced SQL skills with ability to read and write complex queries.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (dbt, GCP, Sigma) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and data presentation ability.
  • English fluency and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Model data in the data platform and build reports for Treasury stakeholders.
  • Deliver end-to-end treasury solutions across jurisdictions.
  • Maintain dashboards and visualisations for treasury reporting and controls.

Senior Data Analyst - Treasury

Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

Ebury’s strategic growth plan is powered by our Data Analytics & Reporting team. We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain.

Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.

The Data team works closely with Treasury, Product and Tech teams to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives helping the Cash management, ALM and Treasury Reporting team. Current projects include MtM valuations reconciliations with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our financial statements; cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs; liquidity data analysis to help the ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations; and building AI agentic workflows to automate routine data operations and decision support.

As part of the team you will
  • Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams
  • Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain
  • Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors
  • Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls
What we’re looking for
  • 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus
  • Advanced SQL skills - able to read and write complex SQL queries
  • Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus). We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Data Studio), Sigma
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format
  • Experience working with Python is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Track record of working autonomously with time management skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is a plus
